The design goals at the outset of this work could be considered to have largely been met:
the application is pure XQuery
on conformance, it passes the tests in the core conformance suite that it can be expected to pass
dynamic evaluation has been implemented
testing so far has shown that compiled schemas run (and produce the same output) under Saxon as well as BaseX.
